One of the organizations that I support, and have the privilege of serving on the board of, is the Transplant Village, which is part of the Transplant Center of Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. This April 21st, we are hosting a gathering of living organ donors in what will hopefully be a Guinness World Record breaking event at the Cloud Gate (more commonly known as “The Bean”) at Millennium Park in Chicago.
There are many transplant related events in Chicagoland this April, as it’s National Organ Donor Awareness month. If you have time, please come meet us at the Bean on April 21st!
